Matthew Piper Photography Biography

Matthew has studied photography and cinematography both independently and at the Masters level. This, combined with his serious forays into painting, writing, and filmmaking, gives him a well-roundedness of aesthetic experience that informs his work with a unique clarity of vision and innovation.

Matthew has taught photography through Adult Ed., as well as won awards in regional photographic competitions. His infrared images were also recently noted in The New York Times. He has been selling fine art photography in galleries since 2001, and his work is now in private collections throughout the country.
